K-2 Reading Foundations

3-8 Reading Foundations
Help older students strengthen the skills they need to access grade-level text. Magpie supports decoding of multisyllabic words, fluency, morphology, and other advanced foundational skills through targeted digital instruction and practice.

Pair Great Minds’ high-quality English language arts curriculum with Magpie’s digital reading foundations tool to give educators a coherent, classroom-ready solution for supporting literacy development across grades K–8.
Research-based, Joyful Instruction
Magpie’s instructionally precise videos and games engage learners year-round to address key subcomponents of literacy. Students access Magpie’s instruction via classroom or personal tablets and can achieve outsized gains with only 45 minutes of Magpie usage a week. Our solution is self-directed and can be implemented for a full school year with only one hour of teacher onboarding. Our K-2 Tool has achieved ESSA Tier II evidence of efficacy.
