Colette leads Magpie’s Programs team, overseeing product development and academics work that connects research, classroom practice, and user-centered design. She began her career as a middle school special educator before serving in leadership roles across schools, districts, and nonprofit organizations, including Teach For America–St. Louis, St. Louis Public Schools, Hiawatha Academies, and Groves Literacy Partnerships. With more than 20 years of experience spanning special education, literacy instruction, and system-level leadership, Colette specializes in translating evidence-based practices into practical solutions that improve teaching and learning at scale.
